- Membership Committee: As a member of the membership committee, you'll serve as a liaison between the AWC, our members, potential members, and the community. It's a great opportunity to network with professionals in the public relations, marketing, journalism, photography, filmography, and the commercial and creative arts.
- Special Events Committee: As a member of the Special Events Committee, you'll help steer our programming, schedule, manage, and enjoy our special events. Think we should hold more seminars on social media, small business administration, or the changes in the communications industry? Join our Special Events Committee to make it happen. You'll make contacts with our region's restaurants, lounges, convention spaces, and hospitality industry.
- Communications Committee: As a member of the Communications Committee, you'll take part in publicizing our events and maintaining the lines of communication between the AWC, our members, and the community. Join the Communications Committee to make contacts with the media and business leaders of the South Florida community.
- Women of the Year Committee: As a member of the Women of the Year Committee, you'll help plan, publicize, and gather nominations for the AWC South Florida's "Women of the Year" awards, which recognize outstanding women who've driven positive change in our community through the use of communications. Our Women of the Year Committee is now securing gift bag donations, media attendance, and nominations for this award. You'll be able to network with our sponsors, the media, and the influential women this award recognizes.
